* That the comparative study of fares charged by both Oshiomhole’s public buses vs private buses from maingate to new benin is N50 vs N40 respectively.
* That carrying capacity of the comrade bus is 7 times higher than that of an average private bus.
* That passengers plying the mentioned route pay more on the public bus than the private busses.
THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK FOR ANALYSIS:
As developmental experts cum public administrators, we know that the primary rational for government intervention in bussiness is not to make profit but to improve public welfare by reducing the cost of living and shielding the public from the exploitativeness of the private sector.
