The former Heartland FC forward underwent trials with Bloemfontein Celtic towards the end of 2011 but ended up signing for National First Division side Thanda Royal Zulu.
Nwadike did well for Neil Tovey’s side and came close to helping the club achieve PSL status but they crashed out of the race when they lost their final promotional playoff match against Chippa United.
“We had a chance to make it after beating Santos but unfortunately we didn’t show the same spirit in the next game against Chippa,” said Nwadike.
“It was disappointing but in football anything can happen. Hopefully something good will happen to the club in the future.”
‘Okey’ says he is not sure where he will play his football next season but refuses to give up on his dream, which is to play in the country’s top league.
“I’m still in Richards Bay and waiting,” said Nwadike. “I’m a free agent but I hope that I’ll play in the PSL next season.
“It’s not all up to me but I believe I have a lot to offer for any team; I know what I’m capable of.”
